Meet the Doctors

Dr. Mark E. Silverman

Dr. Mark Silverman earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor before relocating permanently to Alaska with his wife and partner, Dr. Andrea Silverman. Since opening his Anchorage practice in 2000, Dr. Silverman has remained committed to providing personalized, high-quality dental care to the local community. Prior to establishing the practice, he worked for several years as a dental associate and proudly served patients at the Alaska Native Medical Center.

Outside the office, Dr. Silverman is a passionate outdoorsman who enjoys fly fishing for steelhead, camping in remote areas throughout Alaska, skiing, snowboarding, and following Big Ten Conference sports. He enjoys sharing Alaska adventures with his wife and their two daughters.

Dr. Andrea Silverman

Dr. Andrea Silverman also attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency with the U.S. Air Force before marrying Dr. Mark Silverman in 1996. Prior to opening Silverman Dental together, Dr. Andrea Silverman served as a general dentist at Elmendorf Air Force Base for three years.

Dr. Andrea Silverman is passionate about creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient. She works part-time at the practice while also dedicating time to raising their two daughters. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, especially alpine and nordic skiing throughout Alaska.
